(bracelet or necklace?)
I made this to wear as a necklace but it works fine as a bracelet too.

And a new necklace:
(Notice that the necklace is made of pink, white and green materials, the background is still BLUE)
Last saturday was a fantastic day. We went to Ikea to buy the kitchen cabinets, a closet and lamps for our new house amog other little things. The fantastic thing about it was that Portugal was playing (football) with Iran that day and Ikea was making a discount to everyone who shopped during the game. We managed to pay all the stuff during the game and with the discount ticket we still got two of these and one of these.

In case you are wondering what these grey things in the photo are, they are little pieces of carved rock from Odeceixe beach (my favourite beach, by the way). We went there two weeks ago and P. spent almost the whole afternoon carving them (lots of fun!).
It has been cloudy around here (it even rained last night), but a few rays of light were entering the kitchen through the window and created these shadows wich are perfect for grey/black theme.
When I finished shooting this I had fifteen minutes left, so I spent them photographing these new items:

(the brooch in the right with the white and red trim is made with a piece of tile from my under construction house, see more photos at Flickr)
And, finally, the finished book case, another item to include in my Finish What You Have list.

I love this brown and white button that I used in this brooch and I think I works just fine with the bigger one. I also used another of these buttons to make this other brooch:

(this little ring was sent to Didine along with some others goodies)

I'm now working on a book case. It's almost finished; just some details missing... Last night I made one for P. too (using more manly fabrics, of course). He's going on a business trip to Switzerland, so I thought it would be nice to make a book case to protect the books he's taking to read in the plain. I finished it very late last night so I don't have pictures yet.

This Finish What You Have challenge is an excellent idea to get you to finish those forgotten projects. This is just the tip of the iceberg for me really; I have lots of unfinished projects. Will I be able to finish all of them? We will see... There's also a Flickr group to post post pictures of the finished items over here.
